Synopsis

Set along the misty banks of the Malaprabha River in rural Karnataka, this seven-episode crime thriller follows Sub-Inspector Hanmappa as he unravels a string of crocodile attacks that mask a far darker reality. After villagers discover bloodied remains and a severed skeleton near the Yellamma temple, Hanmappa balances ritual prayers with forensic searches-only to have the missing head vanish under eerie circumstances. His home life fractures in parallel: his pregnant wife, Jyothi, complains of his absence even as their daughter is born amid his increasingly fraught duties?
