Synopsis
Laxmi is a nurse who lives with her daughter Saraswathi. Their life appears peaceful and happy until Saraswathi’s birthday arrives. Laxmi drops her daughter at school in the morning, but when she returns in the evening to pick her up, the school management claims that there is no child with the identification she provides. Shocked and confused, Laxmi feels that something is terribly wrong. The police step in to investigate, only to uncover more unsettling truths. What happened to the child? Does Laxmi really have a daughter? Who is Ramanujam, and how is he connected to the story? The rest of the film revolves around these questions.
